I look forward to an election where people are willing to vote to truly solve our problems rather than both parties voting for who they think "can win" never mind any principles.

Not that I doubt your conviction, but I wonder if you noticed the election that just passed. There were plenty of opportunities to upset the status quo on local elections but I didn't notice much "occupation" then.

So here's what I fear we have to look forward to, that come next election the establishment in each of the 2 parties will choose the candidate and OWS will have been complacent in one or both cases.

We need to do more than just talk. We need to get informed and VOTE! Who cares if you are not Republican, choose the Republican candidate! Same goes for every election for any party or any organization that wants to have control over you. It begins locally!alexanderofyorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16423348843384221975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8204886797424228627.post-90612713761792587942011-11-19T16:38:22.964-05:002011-11-19T16:38:22.964-05:00Hi, I stumbled across this post during a Google se...Hi, I stumbled across this post during a Google search, and I just wanted to answer some of the questions you pose.

"Ask yourself, If the bankers are really to blame, why isn't the current Justice Office going after them? Why doesn't the current administration prosecute? Why won't they even look at the books? They think you are too dumb to ask even these basic questions."

If you look at progressive news sites, we're asking ourselves that question all the time. In fact, that's one of the prime motivators of OWS.

I think, over the course of the next election, conservative populists and liberal populists are going to realize they have more common ground than they realize. I look forward to that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
